Chestnut post and rail is locally supplied and is a hard wood. It creates a rustic and characterful look and usually is installed with 2 or 3 rails slotted into morticed posts. More rails can be used if needed.

It is a strong fence that is ideal for Equine or boundary fencing, it looks great in gardens and on driveways. It can also have livestock or dog wire attached to create a livestock or animal secure enclosure.

Post and rail can also be installed and supplied in machined motorway style which is made from pressure treated soft wood, the rails and posts are a uniformed straight design unlike the more rustic Chestnut post and rail.
